public transport???..............bleh!!!!

Today, i got a lift from a total stranger, isn't that awesome? I did a little dance, a little jiggle because I didn't have to worry about public transport, well at least not till today evening, when i have to use the very same taxis I'm about to bash to go back home, thank God they don't read blogs........or do they??!??. Have i ever mentioned how much i hate public transport? Well i DO and i hate it with the same kind of passion i have for food (yes i love to eat, but that's a story for another day).........

(to parallel Shakespeare's play 'the Taming of a shrew') How do I loathe thee (in this case Ugandan taxis)? Let me count the ways.............

Hello beautiful People........
Its been awhile and no excuses this time, plain truth is, I've just been lazy, a lazy lazy lazy bum. However I am back and focused, Scout's Honor...
Today I want to talk about luuuuurve (obugaalo, akululu, fireworks and all that).
I know the 'appropriate' time to write about this would have been in February, the purported the month of love. However, I am not a believer in that crap.
So now that February 2014 is a distant memory, i can comfortably post something on this very interesting and rather wide subject and I know I am not going to be able to exhaust it.
 It is no secret that i hate Valentine's day.I HATE VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!! HATE HATE HATE VALENTINE'S DAY (in Caps lock, bold and everything). There, i said it.
Many would argue that since I'm a single gal, I am therefore just bitter and I have not yet experienced the magic of Valentine's day. Well to those people I say, I do not care what you think.............well may be i do,a little and that's  why I'm endeavouring to explain myself.........

Dear future husband
I have no idea how you look like but here's hoping that you are an exact replica of Boris Kodjoe (dreams right).
Here's what i know about you; you have a heart of gold, you are kind, you have a great sense of humour, you are playful, you love music, you are strong, brave and calm and you have a great taste in women (i mean duh!)
Whoever you are though, i have to tell you that you are one lucky person because simply put, i am awesome.
I could go on and on about the virtues that i have but, I'll refer you proverbs 31, because i wholeheartedly believe that the woman described in this chapter is me.

I'm Back

Hello beautiful people
Its been awhile since my last post and i'd like to tell you that i've been saving the world like the oh-so-cool avengers or fighting for my family's honour  like those chinese movies where the sound never matches the actions. I would like to tell you that i was doing something really cool and that i haven't had the time to write down something witty and funny but the truth is, i have been suffering from writer's block.....this little illness that sits on the creative genius and just crushes your hopes and dreams.
A tad bit dramatic....true, but when you spend your days like i've spent the last few weeks, you just might go crazy, or develop a flair for the dramatic, like i did.... I may even be alittle crazy, ok i am alot crazy and i've been told i need a straitjacket but the good Lord has seen it fit to let crazy ol' me on the unsuspecting masses of the world.
Ok i'm rambling, where was i?......Right, writer's block, that thing that rendered me and my crazy beautiful mind inactive.
So now that my crazy beautiful mind has done battle with the block and won (yes white blood cell style) i am now going to be posting alot more frequently.
In all my rambling i forgot to say happy new year......please endeavor to fulfill your resolutions....don't be like me, i am still trying to fulfill the resolutions i made in 2010
